Data sources and collaborations
References.watch separates source ownership from its own research layer. Where structured external data is licensed or supplied through a collaboration, the source and permitted use are recorded and attributed.
360d.io
Status: API collaboration pilot.
360d.io has authorised References.watch to store, process and display factual figures and aggregate metrics obtained through its API, including within a commercial product, subject to reasonable usage limits and attribution.
Where 360d.io data is displayed, References.watch will identify the source and link back to the relevant 360d.io page. Raw 360d.io datasets are not redistributed or sublicensed by References.watch.
The collaboration also explores alignment of exact watch-reference identities. Reference data is exchanged only where identity quality is sufficiently clean and verifiable.
How collaborations are handled
- External data remains attributed to its source.
- Commercial-use permissions and restrictions are recorded internally before ingestion.
- Reference identity is not promoted to canonical status solely because it appears in an external market dataset.
- Raw partner datasets are not republished unless the applicable permission explicitly allows it.
- Source-specific rate limits, linking requirements and other restrictions are respected.
Independence
A listed collaboration or licensed source does not imply manufacturer affiliation, endorsement of every References.watch conclusion, or shared responsibility for unrelated content. References.watch remains responsible for its own canonical reference layer and analytical presentation.
